I am not perfect - while I can be fairly easy going, when I'm not about something specific, I know I can be stubborn. I have a temper and I sometimes to struggle to express myself to those closest to me, but I also strive every day to learn patience and be open. I like to be totally comfortable with someone, and would love someone who wants to be just themselves - imperfections and all. Board games, Camping/Outdoors, Cooking, Current events, Dining out, Gardening/Landscaping, Islamic activities, Performing arts, Political interests, Reading books, Tea/Coffee & conversation, Video games, Volunteering. I'm looking for someone who loves life, who lives it to the fullest. Someone who looks to live by Islam within themselves as well as the practice of it. I'm looking for a partner and a husband to not only have a family with, but to explore this beautiful world with. Someone who is up for a good conversation or debate, is interested in continuing a journey of education and understanding throughout their lives. I am taking a journey of self discovery - one that led me to Islam, but one that has not ended, and insh'Allah will continue throughout my life. I want to be the best person I can be in all areas - as a wife, as a friend, as a daughter, a sister, an employee, and a global citizen. I love to get out of the house and explore, but I'm just as happy sitting at home with a good book and a cup of tea. I care passionately about working to develop understanding between the Islamic world and the West, and intend to shape a career that surrounds that.
